E-Marketing Manager: Naxos

Naxos.com is the leading classical website (over 1m visitors a month and 100,000 subscribers) of the world’s largest independent classical music company,
Naxos. The successful candidate is to develop and implement global and local strategies that delivers significant year on year profit growth from the online operations and services and drives increased retail sales of Naxos and its distributed labels’ CD and DVD products.

The successful candidate for this hands-on strategy and marketing role will be expected to: manage website editorial team, develop online marketing campaigns using the Naxos.com website, assist and advise Naxos distributors world-wide to develop online marketing campaigns, co-ordinate the use of the Naxos.com website for marketing campaigns, increase traffic and subscribers to the website, build targeted mailing lists, develop and implement marketing campaigns for new Naxos online products and services and provide strategic advice on e-commerce and e-marketing including downloads and burning through the main commercia
l sites.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in monetising websites and using the internet and web for commercial B2C commerce. They will have a strong vision, be dynamic and self motivated, have experience working with people from different cultures and in different countries and have a determination to succeed.

 

The successful candidate will have:

 

1.                  University or equivalent degree in business administration or marketing

2.                  Strong understanding of privacy and direct marketing laws and regulations

3.                  At least 5 years experience in e-marketing in B2C products or services

4.                  Strong communication skills both written and oral

5.                  Proven sales ability to generate income through the web

6.                  Understanding of web architecture

7.                  Understanding of music royalties and rights

8.                  Be self motivated and work independently as well as with teams located in other countries

9.                  Focus on driving sales and profits and achieving tangible results

10.             A network of contacts within the industry and an ability to identify, initiate and negotiate strategic relationships to further the goals of the e-commerce strategy

11.             An interest in and knowledge of classical music is an advantage
