JEFFREY, ANDREA

Andrea Jeffrey, soprano, is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed her Master of Music in Vocal Performance with renowned Canadian teacher/singer Mary Morrison. Since the completion of her degree, she has been gaining experience across Canada in opera, oratorio, and recital work. Her recent rôles include Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Lizi in Johann Strauss’ Wiener Blut and Bastienne in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne. In summer 2006 she was honoured to be the soprano soloist at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia and teaches at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts.
