LEFAN, BART

The baritone Bart LeFan enjoys a wide range of operatic and concert repertoire. He recently appeared on the Nashville Symphony’s recording of Porgy and Bess under the direction of John Mauceri. His operatic credits include the world première of Marcus Hummon’s Surrender Road, Così fan tutte, Die Zauberflöte, The Pirates of Penzance, and Salome. His concert appearances include the world première of Philip Glass’s The Passion of Ramakrishna and Messiah as well as concert recitals throughout the southeast. Other previous engagements include performances with Sarasota Opera, Mobile Opera, and the AshLawn Opera Festival. Bart LeFan holds degrees in Voice from Lipscomb University and the New England Conservatory of Music.
