SANCHEZ, EMILIO

Emilio Sánchez’s career spans opera, zarzuela, oratorio and recitals. He is regularly invited to appear at Spain’s music festivals and in the country’s opera houses. He has also performed at venues across Europe and the Americas. His recordings include the Mass by Montón y Mallén, Sorozábal’s La tabernera del puerto, Vives’ Doña Francisquita and Rodrigo’s El hijo fingido. Sánchez has also appeared in the world premières of operas such as Divinas palabras (García Abril) and Don Quijote (Cristóbal Halffter), as well as in Aida, Carmen, Parsifal and Madama Butterfly, among others.
