LATORRE, FERNANDO (b 1966 )

Latorre was born in Baracaldo (Biscay) in 1966. He studied singing at the Bilbao Conservatory and moved to Milan to further his studies in 1992. In 1995 he began a year’s work as a member of the La Scala chorus. Since then he has appeared throughout Spain and elsewhere, in operas such as Otello, La traviata, Rigoletto, The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville under the baton of some of the world’s most respected conductors. In other genres he has sung Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
