CONNER, HEATHER Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Steinway Artist Heather Conner is currently Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Utah. She has presented solo recitals in New York, Philadelphia, New Haven, Moscow, Salzburg, Seoul, Niagara-on-the-Lake (Ontario CA), Greenville (SC), Stillwater and Oklahoma City, (OK) and Salt Lake City. She won Grand Prizes at the Hilton Head Island International Piano Competition and the Kingsville International Young Performers Competition, and has performed on numerous occasions as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. An enthusiastic chamber musician, Heather Conner has appeared in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Glenn Gould Studios in Toronto and at the Niagara International Chamber Music Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. She is an artist performer with America’s Dream Chamber Artists both at Symphony Space in New York City and on tour nationally. She holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Yale School of Music, and a D.M.A. from the Manhattan School of Music. She studied with Eleanor Sokoloff, Peter Frankl, and Arkady Aronov.
