DAVIES, HELEN Having entered the Naxos AudioBooks / The Times Voice of the Year Competition for ‘a bit of a giggle’, Helen Davies was more than a little shocked to find herself among the ten finalists. Now retired, she was a teacher of English for over thirty years so she is no stranger to reading aloud, but found being in the recording studio a very different, but nonetheless a very enjoyable, experience. Apart from reading, Helen enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, listening to music and swimming.
