ALBINO, LAURA

Soprano Laura Albino graduated from the University of Toronto Opera School in 2006 and was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Award. Rôles performed include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Semele (Semele) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi). She has performed throughout the Toronto area and abroad with the Aldeburgh Connection, Aradia Ensemble, Queen of Puddings Music Theatre, with whom she appeared at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the Amadeus Choir (Elijah), the Handel Society of Dartmouth College (Messiah) and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (St John Passion). She has worked extensively with Helmuth Rilling at the Toronto and Oregon Bach Festivals, with the Gächinger Cantorei/Bach Collegium in Stuttgart and at the Europäisches Musikfest.
