HARAM, SIMON

Simon Haram was a student of John Harle, the dedicatee of Where the Bee Dances. He is regarded as the finest young exponent of the saxophone in the UK, and now holds the distinction of being Professor of Saxophone at London's Guildhall School of Music, a post he took when he was 27. He has had many works composed for him, is a frequent broadcaster and is in demand as a soloist throughout Europe.
