NICHOLSON, STUART Stuart Nicholson, an honours graduate of the Royal College of Music, is the Assistant Director of Music at Birmingham Cathedral. He has toured the United States and Europe as accompanist for the mixed choir of St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh, and was previously Organist and Director of Music at Waltham Abbey in Essex, following an illustrious line of musicians dating back to Thomas Tallis. As a soloist and accompanist he has performed in major venues across the United Kingdom, including the Royal Albert, Barbican and Symphony Halls, Westminster Abbey and York Minster.
