SCHWEDE, WALTER Following graduate work at the University of Michigan, Walter Schwede began his career with the U.S. Air Force's Strolling Strings, subsequently completing his Masters at Catholic University of America. He has taught violin at .New York University, DePauw University, Belmont College, and University of Washington, and has held professional positions with the Nashville Symphony. In 1984 he joined the Seattle Symphony as associate concertmaster. He concertizes regularly throughout the Pacific Northwest as a soloist.
