BOWER, NICOLE

Canadian born coloratura soprano Nicole Bower received most of her training in her home country, but has also studied in Europe and the United States. She has performed across Canada in numerous rôles including Musetta (La Bohème), Despina (Così fan tutte), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Gabrielle (La vie parisienne), Norina (Don Pasquale), Pamina (The Magic Flute) and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro). She has toured the Canadian opera The Brothers Grimm, and Hansel and Gretel as Gretel. She can also be heard singing the rôle of Donna in the Naxos recording of Handel’s Rinaldo (8.660165-67), under the baton of Kevin Mallon.
