MCARTHUR, ROZ

This recording marks New Zealand born mezzo-soprano Rosalind McArthur’s début recording and her first experience with Aradia Ensemble. A renaissance woman, she divides her time between performing, home, and teaching. She has performed with companies in New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain and North America, and has had the chance to encompass classic rôles such as Bizet’s Carmen and Marcellina in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as well as rôles in contemporary and baroque opera. She performs with her company Gilded Cage, and enjoys making music with young people.
