The International Solo Guitar Competition, sponsored by the Guitar Foundation of America, is one of the top events of its kind worldwide. For more than fifteen years the competition has given winning performers a head start in their careers thanks to the prestigious concert tour awarded to the winner. Johan Fostier is one of Belgium’s young generation of guitarists and has already been a laureate in a number of leading international guitar contests. He has appeared as both soloist and chamber musician across Europe as well as in Canada and the United States.
