Guitar Recital: Jeremy Jouve |
Born in 1979, Jérémy Jouve began his concert career at the age of eleven when he gave a performance of the Vivaldi Guitar Concerto at Chambéry Cathedral. Always open to new musical experiences, including Indian music and jazz, he has given performances of many contemporary works for electric guitar. He is also very active in the performance of chamber music and regularly performs in duos with violinists, flautists and singers. Jérémy Jouve’s international awards include first prize in the 2002 Jan Edmund Jurkowski Competition in Tychy, Poland and the 2003 Guitar Foundation of America Competition.
