Mozart's classic, fairytale opera, the Magic Flute, is stunningly performed at the Zurich Opera House.

Welser-M?st ensures that orchestra moves through the work with a flexibility and gentleness that keeps the music light and theatrical.

Jonathon Miller's stage production captures all the magic of Egypt, a land of handsome princes, demonic queens, evil abductors, serpents and supernatural occurrences.

Elena Mosuc is an electrifyingly powerful Queen of the Night. Both technically and musically gifted this is a wonderful sight. The Queen's three ladies are beautifully clear and blend as they should, as do the three boys (an obvious advantage of the DVD format).
