NEIMAH SINGERS In less than a decade, the Ne'imah Singers has become London's leading Jewish liturgical choir, contributing significantly to that musical capital's long-standing tradition of outstanding male-voice ensembles. Founded in 1994 as the New Finchley Choir by Marc Temerlies together with Cantor Moshe Haschel and Jonathan Weissbart, it largely performs traditional cantorial-choral repertoire, often in contemporary arrangements. Its stated mission, the glorification of prayer through the beauty of song, is reflected in the choir's name, ne'imah (sweet, or pleasant melody).
