PARIS SORBONNE CHORUS

Choir and Orchestra of Paris-Sorbonne

The Choir and Orchestra of Paris-Sorbonne is associated with the Faculty of Music and Musicology of the University of Paris IV and was established by Jacques Grimbert in 1975. The choir has some eighty members, while the orchestra has a complement of seventy-five young musicians recruited from Paris and the Ile de France. The two ensembles have appeared in festivals and concerts throughout Europe and tours abroad have taken them as far afield as Hong Kong.
