THESZ, GABRIELLA

Gabriella Thész, a recipient of the Liszt, Kodály and Bartók-Pásztory prizes, graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she has been a professor since 1992. She regularly appears as guest professor and conductor throughout Europe, in the United States and in Australia. She has appeared as a guest conductor of the National Children’s Choir in San Francisco, Columbus and Chicago. She serves as a jury member at national and international choral competitions. She has been a conductor since 1985, and in 1995 became artistic director of the Hungarian Radio Children’s Choir.
