Warsaw Philharmonic Records Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass for Naxos

After two very successful concerts on 23 and 24 April 2010 as part of the Warsaw Philharmonic Season, the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Warsaw Philharmonic went on to record the Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass under Maestro Antoni Wit between 26–28 April 2010 in the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall. The soloists were Christine Libor, soprano, Ewa Marciniec, contralto, Timothy Bentch, tenor, and Wojciech Gierlach, bass. Together with Janáček’s Sinfonietta (recorded in September 2009) this album will be released on Naxos 8.572639
