Naxos Distributes TwoPianists Records

July 1, 2010

From July 2010, Naxos distributes the outstanding boutique label, TwoPianists Records, an independent music company based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, which was founded by the pianists Nina Schumann and Luis Magalhães. They promote classical music with artists who inspire them and work very closely with them at all levels—publishing, recording, performing, image licensing.

As the Classical Music world has become a fast, dynamic and somehow unpredictable arena to be in, TwoPianists Records is excited by the possibilities. They believe classical musicians in South Africa and the rest of the world are under-served and aim to move onto a higher level of exposure than ever before.

As Production House, TwoPianists in partnership with GERHARD ROUX AUDIO CAPTURE make use of Stellenbosch University’s SUN Music Recording Studios, one of the largest in the world. The building was designed to be a state-of-the-art recording facility.
