Guitar Laureate Viloteau makes Naxos recording début

May 16, 2007

From May 3 to 6, 21-year old French guitarist Thomas Viloteau recorded works by M. Llobet, A. Tansman, A. Ginastera, L. Brouwer and R. Dyens for Naxos. Viloteau was the 2006 Winner of the Guitar Foundation of America Guitar Competition.

The sessions took place at St. John Chrysostom Church in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, and were produced and engineered by Norbert Kraft and Bonnie Silver, who are also producers of the Naxos Guitar Collection, the world's largest catalogue of recordings of classical guitar music.
