Duo Halász records Carulli in Germany July 16, 2007
Guitarist Franz Halász and pianist Débora Halász recently recorded several works by Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841), a prolific composer for the guitar as well as an influential pedagogue of the instrument right up to the present day.
The works recorded were the Variations de Beethoven in F Major, Op. 169; Duo in D Major, Op. 134; Choix de overtures de Rossini: Il Barbiere di Siviglia, La Gazza Ladra, Armida; Nocturne in G, Op. 127; Duo Op.65 in A and the Grand Duo in E minor, Op. 86.
The recording sessions took place from June 18 to 20, 2007 at the Bayerischer Rundfunk Studio in Munich, Germany, and were produced by Bavarian Radio Tonmeisterpauschale (Bayerischer Rundfunk). The sound engineer was Joerg Moser. |
