Harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour recorded the first CD of Book II of J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier at St. John Chrysostom Church in Newmarket, Canada. His recording of Book I (Naxos 8.557625-26), released earlier this year, received very positive reviews. One of Canada’s finest musicians, Beauséjour studied with Mireille Lagacé and Ton Koopman. He won First Prize in the 1985 Erwin Bodky International Harpischord Competition, and is the founder of 'Clavecin en Concert', a concert series in Montréal devoted to harpsichord and chamber music. Sessions took place from September 6 to 9, and were produced and engineered by Norbert Kraft and Bonnie Silver. Luc Beauséjour plays a Yves Beaupré harpsichord on this recording.
