November 21, 2007

From November 1 to 2, young Siberian pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy recorded a programme of Tchaikovsky's piano music for Naxos at Potton Hall in Westleton, Suffolk, UK. Born in Irkutsk in 1984, Ilya Rashkovskiy, won his first international competition for young pianists in Marsala, Italy, at the age of ten. In 2005 he won the International Hong Kong Piano Competition and First Prize in Jaen, Spain.
