PENTATONE VIOLINIST JULIA FISCHER EARNS RAVE REVIEW IN BOSTON GLOBE

Dallas Morning News also Praises Fischer’s PentaTone Recording of Solo Bach

PentaTone violinist Julia Fischer earned a rave review for her performance of Sibelius’ violin concerto with the Boston Symphony last night.  Richard Dyer, in a Boston Globe column entitled “Young Violinist Plays with Sparkle and Soul,” praised Fischer for her “warm, sweet tone and tremendous chops, meeting all the virtuoso challenges spectacularly but offering them as integral to the musical ideas.”

Dallas Morning News critic Lawson Taitte recently reviewed Fischer’s PentaTone recording of Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas (PTC5816072), noting that “she has technique to burn . . . Ms. Fischer has picked up her own insights as to phrasing and tempo from the specialists . . . her playing has enormous depth, as well.”

PentaTone is released in the United States by Naxos of America.
