Naxos Celebrates 100 Editor's Choices

This month's issue of Gramophone Magazine sees yet another Editor's Choice awarded to a Naxos disc, marking a major landmark in the Naxos catalogue - 100 Editor's Choices to date.

Perhaps the best known and one of the most well respected of accolades in the classical music industry, the Gramophone Editor's Choice is an award that marks a disc out as outstanding in terms of performance, repertoire and recorded sound.

Our 100th Editor's Choice was awarded to a July release: Elgar's Sacred Choral Music (8.557288).
"With fine organ playing from Jonathan Vaughn and excellent recorded sound (producer, Andrew Walton), the disc ranks among the best choral issues of recent times."
John Steane, Gramophone
