NATIONAL FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA

The National Festival Orchestra has an outstanding reputation as one of the country’s leading theatre and concert orchestras. Based in the north east, with members from all over the UK, the musicians combine a depth of experience ranging from playing for top symphony and opera orchestras to West End and Broadway shows. Highlights for the NFO include appearances at the London Palladium, the Royal Albert Hall, several live and recorded performances for BBC Radio and concerts at the Edward German Festivals. Each year it is the resident orchestra at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton.
