ALKAN TRIO Alkan Trio
The three musicians of the Trio Alkan have worked together since 1986. The choice
of name for the group represents a commitment to what is new in music, whether
of the twentieth century or earlier. The Trio works together with a number of
contemporary composers, including Jürg Baur, Jacqueline Fontyn, Berthold
Goldschmidt, Mauricio Kagel, Hans Vogt and Isang Yun, broadcasting for West German
Radio in Cologne, South German Radio in Stuttgart and Brussels RTBF.
