ANDREAS KARASIAK Andreas Karasiak studied piano and then singing at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, with a parallel study of baroque music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with René Jacobs. He was for three years a member of the Mannheim National Theatre, for which he undertook principal rôles in Mozart operas. His international career in the concert-hall and opera-house has brought appearances in Europe, the Americas, Japan and Australia, and collaborations with leading conductors and orchestras, with participation in a large number of broadcasts and recordings.
