ANDREW MAHON

Baritone Andrew Mahon has appeared with many organizations in Canada and around the world, performing both concert and operatic repertoire. His solo engagements have included performances of oratorios, cantatas and Masses with Tafelmusik, the Toronto Consort, Tallis Choir, Toronto Chamber Choir, Toronto Continuo Collective, Aradia Ensemble, Theatre of Early Music, MacMaster University Choir, and the Bachakademie Stuttgart. In opera he has appeared with the Toronto Masque Theatre in Purcell’s The Indian Queen, Monteverdi’s Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda, Blow’s Venus and Adonis and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. He can also be heard on Tafelmusik’s CD Gloria in Excelsis Deo on CBC Records.
