ARNAUD SUSSMANN

Winner of a 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant, violinist Arnaud Sussmann has performed as a soloist throughout the United States, Central America, Europe, and Asia at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Louvre Museum. He has recently appeared with the New York Philharmonic, the American Symphony Orchestra, the Nice Orchestra, and the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra and presented recitals in New York, Memphis, Chicago, San Salvador, London, Paris, and St Petersburg, among other cities. As a member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, he has appeared in performances at Lincoln Center in New York as well as on tour throughout the United States. He has performed with many of today’s leading artists and is winner of several international competitions, including the Hudson Valley Philharmonic String Competition, the Andrea Postacchini Competition, and the Vatelot/Rampal Competition, Arnaud Sussmann holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, where he studied with Itzhak Perlman, who chose him to be a Starling Fellow.
