Benjamin Baron has performed with the London Winds, the International Contemporary Ensemble, The Academy, Either/Or Ensemble, New Juilliard and Bargemusic, among others, and on the Princeton Composer’s Series. He has also performed at the Verbier Festival, and has appeared as soloist on Lisa Bielawa’s Chance Encounter with The Knights Ensemble. Joining the Chamber Orchestra of New York on its début in 2007, he has been principal clarinettist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas since its inception in 2004. He has also performed with the Albany Symphony, Dicapo Opera, New Haven Symphony, Glimmerglass Opera, Berkshire Symphony, Belgian Radio Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre and Moscow Chamber Orchestra. He was guest instructor at the Manhattan School and Mannes pre-colleges, at Louisiana State University, Williams College, University of South Dakota, Augustana College, Buena Vista University and Sarah Lawrence College.
