BORGE WAGNER

Borge Wagner, conductor

Borge Wagner was born in 1938 and studied the French horn, joining the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 1956 and moving to the Danish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1957. In 1964 he won first prize in the Salzburg conductors' competition and two years later made his début as conductor with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has since worked as conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra and of the Danish Radio Light Orchestra.
