The Campania Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2002 by Luigi Piovano and Liberato Santarpino. Under the musical and artistic guidance of Luigi Piovano, the orchestra has performed with success in major concerts both in Italy and abroad, collaborating with soloists and conductors of great prestige, including Myung-Whun Chung, Luis Bacalov, François-Joël Thiollier, Sara Mingardo, Gemma Bertagnolli, Pablo De Neveran, Nello Salza, Luisa Prayer, Francesco Nicolosi, Marcello Bufalini, Reyko Watanabe, Sergio Bustric, and the dance company Excursus, always acclaimed by both audiences and the press.
