CHERINA CARMEL Cherina Carmel, sixteen-year-old producer of this CD and also the pianist for tracks 1 and 39, is the daughter of Zina Schiff and Dr. Ronald Eisenberg. At the age of nine, she performed as child violinist for La Jolla Playhouse’s production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters directed by Tony-Award-winner Des McAnuff. Recipient of awards for music, ballet, and drama at the Interlochen Arts Camp, Cherina’s other CD credits include King David’s Lyre and The Golden Dove. She began piano lessons with Berte Muslow and continued with Josefa Heifetz.
