Christian Wilson was Organ Scholar at Christ Church, Oxford, where he remained to undertake performance-related research. In 2006 he was awarded the Nicholas Danby Scholarship and a Wingate Scholarship, continuing his postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart and achieving the highest results. Sharing a performing career between the organ and piano, he has travelled as a soloist throughout Europe, the United States and Australia, appearing regularly on BBC radio and other European stations. He is active as a regular accompanist of chamber music and lieder and is working towards the publication and recording of organ works by York Bowen, Josef Holbrooke and Benjamin Dale and the performance of Francis Pott’s epic symphony, Christus.
