CHRISTINA HARDYMENT

Christina Hardyment is a journalist and broadcaster who has written books on a wide range of subjects including a biography of Sir Thomas Malory (www.christinahardyment.co.uk). She is especially interested in the way that domestic circumstances and surrounding landscapes affect creativity. Since moving to an Oxford house with a very large garden, she has spent an increasing amount of her time digging, planting and planning, and in exploring both the history of gardens and the literature inspired by them.
