DANIEL BELCHER

Baritone Daniel Belcher has appeared with Geneva Opera, Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra de Montpellier, Opera Ireland, Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Opera Atelier, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Utah Symphony and Opera, Central City Opera, Portland Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and San Francisco Opera, among others. He recorded Kaija Saariaho’s L’Amour de loin conducted by Kent Nagano, which received the Diapason d’Or award in 2009. He received a Robert Jacobson Study Grant from the Richard Tucker Foundation, a Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation and a Sullivan Foundation Award. He is an alumnus of the Houston Grand Opera Studio and the young artist programs of the Santa Fe Opera and Central City Opera.
