DARREN PERRY

American baritone Darren Perry has been praised for his powerful vocal ability, flawless musicianship, and compelling performances within the lyric baritone repertoire. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, from which he received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in vocal performance. He is also a graduate of Opera Lafayette’s Young Artists Program, and is a student of François Loup. He can be heard on the Naxos label as Aronte in Lully’s Armide, in Rebel and Francoeur’s Zélindor, roi des Sylphes, and as Courchemin in Monsigny’s Le Déserteur, all with Opera Lafayette.
