ELIANE REYES Born in 1977, Eliane Reyes gave her first recital at the age of five. She has studied with J-C. Vanden Eynden, H. Leygraf, J. Rouvier, B. Engerer and A.Weiss, and has benefitted from the advice of György Cziffra, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Martha Argerich. She has followed courses at leading European institutions, including the Paris CNSM (3rd cycle), the Brussels Conservatoire Royal de Musique, the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth and the Berlin Hochschule der Künste. She is a laureate of several international competitions, including Ettlingen, Montréal and Clara Schumann. Since her débuts with the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra and at the Tibor Varga Festival at the age of eleven, she has enjoyed a distinguished career as a soloist and chamber musician, with invitations to play at halls such as the Vienna Musikverein, Paris Cité de la Musique, Prague Rudolfinum, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, and Festspielhaus Baden- Baden. She has collaborated with violinist Lorenzo Gatto touring Europe as a ‘Rising Star’ in 2010/2011. Eliane Reyes is the dedicatee of several pieces by Nicolas Bacri, among many other composers. She teaches at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique.
