ELSA GIANNOULIDOU

A native of Athens, Elsa Giannoulidou was until 2008 a member of the Zurich International Opera Studio. After graduating in biology, she went on to vocal training in Vienna, winning prizes in various competitions, with, in 2007, the Rossini in Wildbad International Bel Canto Prize. She has appeared in recitals and in oratorio in Austria, Greece, Serbia and Italy and is a member of the Linz Regional Theatre ensemble. Her rôles include Despina in Così fan tutte, Prince Orlofsky in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus and Juno/Hecuba in Cavalli’s La Didone.
