ENRICO MARIA MARABELLI

Born in Pavia and winner of various vocal competitions, the baritone Enrico Maria Marabelli made his operatic début in Falstaff (Ford) in Cremona. From then on he embarked on a successful career performing in the most important international theatres, with a repertoire including Don Giovanni (Masetto; Avignon), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo; Berlin, Wexford), La forza del destino (Fra Melitone; Berlin), Falstaff (Ford; Brussels), L’elisir d’amore (Belcore; Berlin), La figlia del reggimento (Sulpice; Novara), Il viaggio a Reims (Antonio; Montecarlo, Genova, Wexford), La cambiale di matrimonio (Norton; ROF in Pesaro), Le nozze di Figaro (Figaro; San Gallen, Aix-en-Provence), La scala di seta (Germano; Berlin, Potsdam), La sonnambula (Alessio; Brussels, Amsterdam), La pietra di paragone (Fabrizio; Montecarlo), Die Zauberflöte (Papageno; Aix-en- Provence, Lisbon, Lecce), La bohème (Schaunard; Cagliari, Genova, Ancona), La cenerentola (Dandini; Aix-en-Provence), Il console (Assan; Torino), Mirandolina (Cavaliere di Ripafratta; Wexford) and L’Arrighetto (Pesaro). He has collaborated with such conductors as Enrique Mazzola, Kazushi Ono and Alberto Zedda.
