Greek guitarist Eva Fampas was born in Athens. The daughter of the famous guitarist and composer Dimitris Fampas, she started playing the guitar and giving concerts at an early age. She enjoys an international career performing extensively in major festivals, concert halls and cultural centres, and on radio and television in more than 25 countries in Europe, Asia and South America. She often performs with orchestras and she gave the premières of the For Eva guitar concerto by Yiu-Kwong Chung (dedicated to her) with the Athens State Orchestra string ensemble, and the Greek Suite by Dimitris Fampas with the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra, and many more such works. Additionally, she is very active as a lecturer, recording artist, and teaching guitar in masterclasses and as a music editor in collaboration with publishing houses such as Mel Bay (USA), Bèrben (Italy), Lathkill Music (UK), Balkanota (Bulgaria), and the Greek companies Liolios, Nikolaidis-Orpheus, Nakas and others. She plays a Ramirez guitar and uses Savarez strings.
