FRANCISCO HEREDIA Francisco Heredia was born in Baracaldo, Vizcaya, in 1965 and graduated with distinction from the Málaga
Conservatory, subsequently following master classes with Montserrat Caballé and Victoria de los Angeles. Awards
include the prize as best lyric tenor in the Third Alfredo Kraus Competition and has appeared under distinguished
conductors in opera, zarzuela and concert performances throughout Spain. He served from 1991 to 1998 as director
of the Málaga Opera Chorus and is on the teaching staff of the vocal department of the Granada Conservatory.
