The pianist Galina Petrova is the partner of violinist Maxim Fedotov in all his chamber-music performances, a distinguished collaboration. She is an Artist of Merit of Russia, Laureate of the Moscow Government Prize (2003) and soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic, and appears in all the major concert halls of Russia. Concert tours have taken her to Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, Croatia, Australia, China, the countries of the Baltic area and elsewhere. She is a member of the Petrovskaya Academy of Science and Arts in St Petersburg. She has given master-classes in Japan, Croatia and Australia, and participated in major festivals and cultural events in Russia and abroad. She has a number of recordings to her credit.
