JUDITH GAUTHIER

Before starting her vocal studies with Gabriel Bacquier and Michèle Command, Judith Gauthier trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in piano, accompaniment and vocal conducting. She is the recipient of prizes including the Adami Prize at the International Competition in Clermont-Ferrand (2005), First Prize and the SACEM Prize for the most outstanding interpretation of contemporary works at the Toulouse Concours International de la Mélodie Française (2003). She made her début in Campra’s Idoménée under Jean-Claude Malgoire and has continued to collaborate with leading conductors and stage directors in repertoire ranging from Lully to the contemporary.
