Chorusmaster: Vasily Grachev

The Boys’ Choir of the Glinka Choral College, St Petersburg, is one of the oldest musical institutions in Russia. It has been closely associated with the history of St Petersburg since 1703. Its current director, Vasily Grachev, graduated in 1993 from the State Conservatory of Nizhny Novgorod where he subsequently obtained a postgraduate degree as an assistant to LK Sivukhin. Until 2008 he worked as the artistic director of the youth choir of the city of Perm. Since then he has been the artistic director of The Boys’ Choir of the Glinka Choral College, St Petersburg.
