GORAN GOJEVIC

Goran Gojevic, recipient of numerous clarinet scholarships and grants, graduated from  Belgrade Conservatory in 1986. At the Faculty of Music in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, graduating in Clarinet Performance in 1991. In 1993 he received his master’s degree at the same university. Throughout his years of study he was in demand as a featured soloist and member of ensembles such as the Belgrade Philharmonic, Novi Sad Symphony, the Belgrade National Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Conservatory Orchestra, and University Symphony Orchestra. He has frequently recorded for radio and television and has participated in a number of world class competitions. In 1990 he competed in the International Competition for Musical Performers in Geneva, and in 1991 was the winner of Yugoslavia’s National Musical Competition. He moved to Canada in 1993 and has performed there widely as a soloist and chamber musician.
