Nina Gravrok studied at the University of Agder and the Opera Academy in Oslo. Since 2005 she has appeared in various opera houses in Norway with rôles including Zerlina, Despina, Lauretta, Bess, Madame Lidoine, Madama Butterfly, Giorgetta, Suor Angelica and Musetta. In 2008 she made her international opera début as Pamina in Cologne and Essen, and in 2009 began a collaboration with Norwegian National Opera. In 2007 she won third prize in the Queen Sonja International Music competition. She received funds from the Ruud-Wallenberg Scholarship in 2005, 2007 and 2009, and in 2008 and 2013 she was awarded a Klæstad scholarship.
